We were totally reliant on Checkatrade to source us a reliable expert for our home improvement. We signed up and listed our project details, but unfortunately, we were left high and dry.

Checkatrade's response/customer service/support has been dismissive/useless/unhelpful, leaving us feeling frustrated/angry/betrayed.

It's clear to us that Checkatrade prioritizes their own profits over the well-being/satisfaction/rights of customers. We demand/request/urge fair compensation/justice/accountability for this injustice/wrongdoing/terrible experience.

Think twice before you believe Checkatrade. Their whole setup is designed to leave you stranded. They promise the world but they a load of rubbish. You'll be left in a pickle and nobody at Checkatrade will bat an eyelid.

It all starts with their sneaky fees, which they hide in the small stuff. Then, there's the terrible customer service that's about as useful as a chocolate teapot. You can try to complain, but it's like chasing ghosts.

So, stay clear of Checkatrade if you value your sanity.

Is Checkatrade a Scam?

We thought we were doing the right move by using Checkatrade to find a reputable plumber/electrician/contractor. After all, they seemed so reliable with their qualified traders. Boy, were we wrong! Our experience was nothing short of a disaster.

Then, the customer service from the "qualified" trader was lackluster/awful/terrible. He was unprofessional/rude/disrespectful and sent us a quote that was outrageous/ridiculous/way too high. We tried to talk about the issues, but he was adamant/unwilling/stubborn to compromise/negotiate/change.

In the end, we ended up payinga huge sum/an exorbitant amount/ way more than it should have been by this so-called "vetted" trader. Checkatrade's helpline was equally useless/incompetent/unhelpful. They offered us a pathetic excuse/blamed the trader/did nothing.

We're left feeling disappointed and suggest looking elsewhere for your tradesman needs.

My rundown with Checkatrade turned into a nightmare. I engaged a here trader through their service to carry out some essential home repairs. They seemed reliable at first, but it turned out a horrendous ordeal.

Even though I transferred the full amount upfront, the work completely vanished into thin air. Communication became impossible. It's been a truly agonizing period, and I'm still left with a gaping hole where my sense of security once was.
